Since the initiation of the EMBA, students can not only receive theory and knowledge imparted by faculty through classes, but can achieve the goal of obtaining knowledge and establish invaluable friendship, which can be an important asset in life and career, through learning and sessioning with each other. The College of Management takes outstanding faculty members, appropriate courses and peer-interaction as the planning concepts, integrating theory, knowledge and practice as the operating mode of EMBA, and allow students to obtain the theories and knowledge needed in the workplace. From the feedback of graduates over the years, the above-mentioned goals and operation methods are in line with our planning philosophy. Therefore, the key goals of EMBA curriculum planning are as follows:
1. Emphasize the combination of theory and practice as the development strategy, enhance the on-the-job returnees’ management abilities.
2. Provide diversified and interdisciplinary learning; focus on the exchange of enterprises and work experiences.
3. Establish industry-government collaboration to cultivate the ability of responding to changes in the ever-changing environment.
4. Emphasize on teaching and sharing real-life cases to cultivate the ability of doing decision analysis.
5. Offer holistic education by provide faculty-student interaction and industrial exchange.
Curriculum Planning
「學校或教師對教材、教學時間及其他所需資源等進行有系統的分析與計畫的過程,稱為課程規劃。
課程規劃要求教師進行各個授課學科材料的主題分析,對於一學期或一學年的教學內容,以一週或一月為單位,詳細安排每個單位時間內所要教授的重要主題、活動及所需時間,使個人的課程安排有系統,也能使全校性的課程決定更容易進行。」 -教育百科
